Calpulli introduces audiences to Mexico’s rich cultural heritage through movement, colorful costuming and garments, and lively rhythms. Each 50-minute program features dance works developed over 20 years, guided by a narrator who shares cultural and historical context. Audiences also participate in accessible interactive workshops exploring rhythmic footwork and cultural traditions such as the famous Mariachi grito.
