The Museum of the City of New York is dedicated to interpreting the character and heritage of the city, and its changes over time. Visitors can see portraits, documents, paintings, artifacts, and interactive displays on 400 years of history. They can also “meet” famous New Yorkers from the past, see historical streetscapes, and more. Groups can schedule an educational program for a day of hands-on, interdisciplinary learning using the Museum’s collections.
