Visit the League of Women Voters of New York State (LWVNY) for a number of invigorating programs that will challenge your group to engage in their local, state, and national governments. Established in 1919, the nonpartisan political organization strives to encourage the community to be informed about issues in politics and be active participants in government. The organization offers several youth programs throughout the state of New York to teach groups about our government and the importance of being dutiful citizens.
