Take your school to Nature's Classroom for a comprehensive field trip that meets curriculum goals. Nature's Classroom encourages scholastic groups to investigate, collaborate, design, and communicate. Students will explore STEM concepts, learn to work together with peers, and grow to appreciate nature through hands-on activities. Open for school programs September-December and March-June, Nature's Classroom offers awesome activities like lake and forest ecology, river and glacier studies, biodiversity exploration, day and evening hiking, team building, low ropes, wilderness skills, outdoor cooking, and much more!

Nature’s Classroom

Nature’s Classroom is so much more than a field trip. We give students the opportunity to unplug from technology and plug into something more meaningful. Since 1973, Nature’s Classroom has been bringing students once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunities in the great outdoors. Our overnight program is our bread and butter; students who stay at any of our sites will learn priceless leadership, social, and critical thinking skills from our outstanding educators. They’ll learn about and among nature in a hands-on setting, all while practicing teamwork and collaboration. Students will explore STEM concepts, learn to work together with peers, and grow to appreciate nature through hands-on activities.
