DESTINATIONS

FIELD TRIPS

Selected Olney Theatre Center productions include 10:15 am performances in their schedule to accommodate school groups. These events are restricted to school groups only. Tickets are available on a sliding scale (see sidebar) with prices ranging from $5 for Title I schools to a maximum of $20 per student. We are committed to making our performances accessible to as many students as possible, so please do not assume your school cannot afford to come to the theatre.

Ever wondered how we make theatre magic happen? Add on a tour to your student matinee or alone as a field trip. Now's your chance to go behind the scenes on a walking tour of Olney Theatre Center's campus. Get a close look at our performance spaces and backstage areas. Campus tours run between 30-60 minutes and led by our education and community engagement staff members. You'll learn some of the history of Olney Theatre Center, but mostly get a better understanding of what it takes to produce the plays and musicals here.
