Delaware Contemporary

The Delaware Contemporary is focused on the growth and understanding of the contemporary arts in Delaware. The museum presents over 30 exhibitions annually of regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized artists. Tours are based on current exhibitions and include an option to visit one of the 26 current artists’ studios to hear them talk about their work. Hands-on workshops supplement tours and provide visitors with access to the artistic process. The museum welcomes sketching and scavenger hunts in the galleries to engage guests, during which they can learn thematic, design, and medium-based concepts about the exhibits at the museum. Exhibits demonstrate a variety of media, styles, and techniques, keeping guests captivated throughout their visit.
