Programs may take place in the Nature Museum, on the grounds of White Memorial, or be presented in your classroom. Students can compare their own five senses to the senses other of animals, get to know the local trees, learn about the life cycles of flowering plants, meet live animals that illustrate adaptation, find out how herbivores and omnivores acquire food, go on a birding hike, and much more.

White Memorial Conservation Center's diverse habitat provides an ideal “outdoor classroom” for promoting awareness, understanding, and respect for the natural world. There are over 40 miles of trails open to the public, with diverse landscaped and natural areas encompassing ponds, wetlands, forests, and more. Educational and public programming is offered for learners of all ages. Free camping is available for scout groups by reservation.
