Mark Twain House & Museum

The Mark Twain House & Museum was the home of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (aka Mark Twain) and his family from 1874-1891. Numerous Common Core Standard aligned tours and programs are offered. These cater to different grade levels and include writing and primary source programs, and interactive presentations about Twain, his life, times, and work. The museum also offers in school programs and teacher training and workshops. The website offers lesson plans for teachers.
