Rutledge-Wilson Farm Community Park is a 200+ acre community farm site featuring animals, demonstration gardens, prairie, a milking barn and hands-on programs.

The Saint Louis Art Museum collects, presents, interprets, and conserves works of art across time and cultures including paintings, sculptures, objects and drawings.

The Saint Louis Science Center has 700 interactive experiences in ten galleries, the indoor-outdoor GROW agricultural pavilion and gallery and Planetarium.

The Saint Louis Zoo, is home to over 13,000 animals representing 555 species, provides experiences include topics such as living systems, ecology, conservation, and scientific inquiry. 

Science City at Union Station is an interactive science center that features traveling exhibitions, The Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium, City Extreme Screen theatre, and more than 120 hands-on displays.

An authentic player piano fills the air with Scott Joplin melodies as you walk through the Scott Joplin House State Historic Site, which stands as a testimony to his talent and hard work.

Shaw Nature Reserve is a nature reserve for studying nature. It is a premier educational, research and habitat restoration for wetland, a prairie and reconstruction site.

Shelter Gardens is a 5-acre botanic garden with every variety of plant life in the garden that has botanical information listed for their species.

Shoal Creek Living History Museum is an 80-acre park with authentic buildings documenting Missouri history. Visitors will experience hands-on 19th century living throughout our village.

Tours of Smallin Civil War Cave often include sightings of bats and salamanders. The Cave is rich in human history; Native American, pioneer, Civil War, and Baldknobber history.

The Butterfly House, run by the Missouri Botanical Garden, has hands-on, student-driven investigations that connect them with the world of butterflies and other insects.

The Springfield Art Museum has 10,000 works of art in the permanent collection that documents the cultural heritage of the people of southwest Missouri as well as national and worldwide art.
