The Meyer May House is a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house. It is considered a fine example of Wright’s Prairie School era, and “Michigan’s Prairie masterpiece”.

The Michigan Firehouse Museum and Education Center’s mission is to enhance the appreciation of firefighting history through engaging and informative exhibits, as well as to teach and promote fire safety.

The Michigan History Museum offers exhibits on Michigan’s rich past, from the time of the state’s earliest peoples to the late 20th century. The museum’s five floors provide a walk through time.

The Michigan Maritime Museum celebrates, preserves, promotes, and stewards the vibrant heritage and culture of Michigan’s Great Lakes and waterways, through education, exhibition, and immersive experience.

The Michigan Science Center is a Smithsonian-affiliate science museum purpose is to inspire curious minds of all ages to discover, explore and appreciate science, technology, engineering and math in a creative, dynamic learning environment.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, is a contemporary art museum at Michigan State University. School programs, in-person and virtual, focused on building creative thinking and exploring diverse perspectives with tours and hands-on activities.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit is a non-collecting contemporary art museum. MOCAD is housed in a 22,000-square-foot building designed by architect Andrew Zago. The architecture of the building was left intentionally raw and unfinished.

The Muskegon Museum of Art is renowned for its fine permanent collection of American and European paintings, sculpture, prints, and drawings with its permanent and rotating special exhibitions.

The Potter Park Zoo is a 102-acre zoo and is currently home to over 160 species of animals. Its mission is to inspire people to conserve animals in the natural world.

The Creature Conservancy’s goal is the education of people of all ages about exotic animals in order to promote a better understanding of the animals with which we share our world and therefore an interest in protecting the environment. Our mission is simple: “Conservation Through Education.”

The Gilmore Car Museum is an automobile museum that exhibits over 400 vintage and collector vehicles and motorcycles from all eras in several vintage buildings located on a 90-acre campus.
