The Penobscot Nation Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of the Penobscot and Wabanaki people. The museum houses collections that span thousands of years of history.

Penobscot Theatre Company operates year-round in the historic Bangor Opera House, producing theatre works both classic and new.  Special student matinees are offered periodically each season.

Education is at the heart of Pineland Farms’ mission. Our 5,000-acre property offers an inspiring classroom for students of all ages, year-round. On the farm the learning takes place in our forests, fields, barns, gardens and farmyard.

The Portland Fire Museum contains the collection of the Portland Veteran Firemen’s Association, accrued over the last one hundred-eleven years.

The Center celebrates the success of Project Puffin brings puffins and other rare Maine seabirds back to historic nesting islands. View puffins and other seabirds in real time through a remarkable live video system.

Pumpkin Valley Farm Field trip includes 2 hour visit for school groups mid week to enjoy the corn maze, mini maze, jumping pillow, play areas, farm animals and then take a hayride to pick a small pumpkin.

In the midst of quiet hay fields in Bowdoin, Maine, you’ll find Rocky Ridge Orchard, where school, scout and homeschool groups can pick apples in our orchards.

The Sabbathday Lake Shaker Museum is located within the only active and functioning Shaker Community in the world and features six village structures open to the public.

Sandy River Farms will again be hosting an “Amazing Maize” on our ten acre corn field. The Maize is a series of paths cut into the cornfield and will provide ample fun for all ages.
