Feathered Friends Forever Rescue is a sanctuary for rescued parrots. The 1350 birds onsite can be viewed in 16 bird enclosure areas set in a natural environment on ten acres.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Monetary Museum learn about the world of economics from barter to present. Exhibits focus on the history of money, view rare coins and currency, and see inside cash-processing operations.

The Fernbank Science Center is a museum, planetarium, and woodland complex. Exhibit highlights: the Apollo 6 permanent exhibit; the real command module; live animal exhibit; Nikon Small World exhibit.

The Flint RiverQuarium interprets the geologic, hydrologic, ecologic, and climactic conditions of the Flint River Basin and educates on the critical importance of our natural resources.
