Field Trips

At ICA San Diego, a field trip includes a tour of the current exhibition and a hands-on art project led by a teaching artist. Students will have the opportunity to look closely, question, and share perspectives about contemporary art.

The Joe Davies Heritage Airpark is an aviation museum and airpark with displays of aircraft that portray our rich aerospace heritage.  21 retired military aircraft on static display, plus a 1/8 scale model of the B-2 Spirit, an AGM-28 Hound Dog Missile, a B-52, a C-46, and various aircraft components.

John Drescher Planetarium offers online shows that include topics such as Earth’s place in the solar system, constellations, gravity, seasons, forces and interactions, matter and energy, etc. Check for the opening of in-person planetarium shows.
