Southold Indian Museum
The Southold Indian Museum is dedicated to the cultural preservation of Long Island’s Native Americans, by helping to increase public understanding through objects and oral history. The museum’s archaeologists have lead site investigations across Long Island since the 1920s. Many important ancient Native American site artifacts are on permanent display at the museum. It is owned and operated by the Incorporated Long Island Chapter of the New York State Archaeological Association.
