Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum

Visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum dedicated to the 16th president of the United States. Across the street from the museum is the library, which contains books, papers, and artifacts relating to Lincoln’s life and the Civil War era.

Illinois State Museum

The Illinois State Museum examine hundreds of years of change in both the household life and physical geography of Illinois. Their exhibits focus on the state’s environment, Native American life, and objects and stories from pioneer life, the Industrial Revolution, and the 20th century.

Lincoln Home National Historic Site

The Lincoln Home National Historic Site was the only home ever owned by President Abraham Lincoln. Visits include guided tours by rangers of the lincoln’s home and free films highlighting Abraham Lincoln and the home.
