The National Wildlife Federation is a non-profit organization that strives to protect America’s wildlife.

The organization offers a variety of youth programs that are perfect for any school’s service learning projects. For example, Nature Play Spaces aims to transform playgrounds, schoolyards, childcare centers, museums, and zoos into spaces where kids can play and learn about nature. Other service learning programs include Trees for Wildlife (planting trees) and Eco-Schools (helping schools reduce their carbon footprint and take action in their community).
