Founded in 1812, the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University is a leading natural history museum dedicated to advancing research, education, and public engagement in biodiversity and environmental science.

At the Nature Place visitors can explore wetland trails and use the teaching and demonstration gardens or indoor classrooms. Young students can also explore, learn, and play in the Nature Play Zone.

The Tom Ridge Environmental Center is a modern, 75 foot structure filled with exhibits dedicated to teaching groups about the unique 32,000 acres of Presque Isle and the many different forms of life that inhabit the peninsula.
