The Chenango Arts Council’s Grants for Teachers Program provides up to $500 to teachers in Chenango County who find innovative ways to integrate the arts into the regular school curriculum through projects that are not covered by the school budget.
Teachers currently employed by a public or private school in Chenango County are eligible to apply. Potential uses of grant funds include equipment repair, purchase of materials, cultural field trips, in-school performances, interactions with professional artists, cultural staff development, workshops for teachers, and more.
