School Day Matinees at the Byham Theater - October 2024 – May 2025
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is proud to present matinees appropriate for all grade levels. School Day Matinees are only open to educators bringing school groups. These shows feature theater, dance, and music performances from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Dentons Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents Series, Children’s Theater Series, and Pittsburgh Dance Council Series.
Jazz Time! Early Childhood Jazz Performance Series -Year Round during the School Year
Enjoy a morning of jazz! Children will engage with local talented musicians as they learn about the instruments, styles, and elements that make jazz music so unique. This musical performance, with story created by Anqwenique Wingfield and music and lyrics by Douglas Levine, presents children with a wonderful introduction to jazz led by professional musicians.
