Vale Wood Farms is a dairy farm that offers fall and spring tours. Depending on their grade level and interests, groups may learn about the farm’s cows, dairy products and processing, crops, conservation, and history. See the dairy farm where some 200 cows are cared for and the dairy plant where milk is made into various products. Educational stations will teach visitors about baby calves, how cows are milked, and what cows eat. In the fall, groups can take one of the farm’s popular hayride tours to the pumpkin patch and try activities like the straw maze and the giant corn box.
