Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) was formed in 1969 to save the historic Ohio Theatre from destruction. It renovated and restored that theater and then adopted several others. CAPA aims to produce high quality artistic programming to serve and educate diverse audiences. It also features the work of artists from all cultural backgrounds and operates and maintains world class performance venues.
