Discovery Center of the Southern Tier

Enjoy a fun hands-on interactive experience at the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier, also known as the Binghamton Children’s Museum, which features 30 play and learn exhibits. The museum strives to aid in development of the intellectual, physical and emotional well-being of young learners in the Southern Tier. Exhibits at the museum include Engine Company No. 5, Weis Market, Story Garden, Santa’s Workshop, and more. All field trips for students, scout, homeschoolers, and campers include over an hour of museum exploration and a special program upon request. Programs cover various topics related to STEAM learning.
