FIELD TRIPS

A unique field trip experience where students learn to work together, creativity, solve problems together, face disappointments and rethink to solve the challenges along with having lots of fun!

Your students will form teams of 3-5 people and explore 24 different Quests full of mental and physical challenges. Each Quest has a unique theme, like exploring the Jungle, breaking out of prison, competing on a game show, or solving the riddle of the Sphinx, and teams can try as many as they like.

Failure is central to Questing. When a team enters a challenge, they don't know their objective or what rules they're not allowed to break, and they have a very short time limit -- two minutes or less. The average team will fail each Quest more than ten times, but with each failure the team talks about what they've learned and comes up with a new plan to try. This means that while they're having an amazing experience they are also building core skills in teamwork, problem solving, communication, and grit/persistence.

Please note that any students aged 7-8 must be accompanied by adults at all times (including on their Quest teams), and no one under 7 is allowed in the Questing area.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Boda Borg Boston is a popular destination for birthday outings. Your guests will form teams of 3-5 people and explore up to 24 different Quests full of mental and physical challenges. Because teams are coming in and out of the Quests regularly, the birthday person can “hop” between teams to spend time with all of their guests.

Please note that we don’t have birthday “packages” or party rooms, and no outside food is permitted. We have snacks for sale and a social area for quiet gathering and breaks, but most people combine an outing at Boda Borg with a celebration either at home or at one of the many nearby restaurants. (A list of restaurants is available.)
