Georgia Governor's Mansion is a three-floor, 30-room, Greek Revival style home built in 1967, stands on approximately 18 acres in northeast Atlanta. The furnishings in the house are considered to be museum quality and makeup one of the finest Federal Period collections in the United States. Public tours are conducted throughout the year on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10:00AM and 11:30AM. Reservations are needed for groups of 10 or more. The tour is both guided and self guided. Docents are stationed in each room to teach you about the collection, but you may go from room to room at your own pace.
