University of North Georgia’s George E. Coleman, Sr. Planetarium allows groups to learn about and immerse themselves in outer space. The planetarium features a 30-foot diameter dome, and can accommodate 46 people in its seats. The Digistar projector can show groups the night sky as seen from earth and take them into the cosmos, allowing for an experience that showcases views of other worlds. Groups will learn about the moon, sun, stars, planets, and more. Field trip planetarium showings include live, interactive, in-depth content on the patterns of stars in constellations, nebulas, star properties, and more.
