Located at Southern Connecticut State University, the Ethnic Heritage Center celebrates diversity while recognizing a common humanity among cultures. The center is home to the Greater New Haven African American Historical Society, Connecticut Irish American Historical Society, Italian American Historical Society of Connecticut, Jewish Historical Society of Greater New Haven, and the Connecticut Ukrainian American Historical Society. Collections include photographs, artifacts, papers, books, and periodicals. Exhibits have focused on immigration, religion, and more.
