Popularly known as “The Battle of Bunker Hill,” bloody fighting took place throughout a hilly landscape of fenced pastures that were situated across the Charles River from Boston. The Bunker Hill Monument was a tribute to the memory of the Battle.

Visitors to the USS Constitution Museum will learn about the ship’s nickname and discover how it remained undefeated since being launched in 1797. The USS Constitution’s past comes to life through objects, stories, and hands-on experiences at the USS Constitution Museum!
