The National Wildlife Visitor Center is an environmental education center providing visitors with opportunities to explore and learn. Attractions include environmental exhibits, interactive kiosk, pollinator garden and more.

The Norton Simon Museum is an art museum. Its collection includes European masterworks from the Renaissance to the 20th century, and a collection of South and Southeast Asian art spanning 2,000 years and numerous sculptures on its grounds.

At the Ocean City Museum visitors travel back in time to join the heroic surfmen of the US Life-Saving Service on a rescue mission. The museum holds many fascinating tales of Ocean City’s history.

The Old Town Bowie Welcome Center and Interactive Children’s Museum has hands on activities for children, and exhibits on the history of Old Bowie and its past as a close-knit local railroad community.

Olney Theatre Center offers 10:15am performances for a diversity of audiences of our professional productions, including post-show discussions. See our current season online along with content and curricular guidance. Sliding scale tickets. Outreach: Montgomery County Public Schools and some locations in other nearby counties.

Oregon Ridge Nature Center is a certified Maryland Green Center focused on promoting environmental stewardship and offering quality environmental education programs.

The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum mission is to preserve the accomplishments of naval aircraft. The collection ranges from ejection seats and weapons to unmanned aerial vehicles and full size aircraft.

Opened in 1974, Piney Run Park features a 300 acre lake as its centerpiece surrounded by 550 acres of fields, forest, and open spaces with over 5 miles of hiking trails.

Located within the Pocomoke State Forest, the Pocomoke River State Park offers a base for a vast array of outdoor activities including camping, fishing, biking, birding, boating, hiking, swimming and more.

Port Discovery Children’s Museum offers three floors of interactive, educational exhibits and ever-changing programs for children ages birth through ten years.

Red Wiggler Community Farm is a sustainable farm where visitors with and without developmental disabilities come together to work, learn and grow healthy food.

The 82,000-square-foot Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture is dedicated to preserving history and retelling the stories of Maryland’s African American community.
