Robinson Nature Center is a unique nature education facility situated on 18 acres. Indoor interactive nature exhibits and outdoor one mile of trails. The Center runs over 420 programs including field trips, home school and scout programs.

Family owned and operated Rodgers’ Farms grows corn, wheat, pumpkins, and organic vegetables throughout the year. Since 2002, they’ve been running their corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkin and fall activities.

Rose Hill Manor Park and Museums present the daily life of Thomas Johnson, Maryland’s first Governor, and the individuals who lived on the property as well as the history of agriculture and transportation in Frederick County.

The Salisbury Zoo offers naturalistic exhibits of birds, mammals and reptiles that are native to the Americas and Australia in a relatively intimate, 12-acre setting, with wide paths and a relaxed atmosphere.

The Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway is a scenic driving tour that includes sites such as the new Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center that opened in March 2017.

At the Seneca Schoolhouse Museum, visitors will enjoy the “back in time” experience of a typical school day in 1880 Seneca, Maryland. In 1865, just as the Civil War was ending, Mr. Upton Darby start the one-room school.

he Smithsonian Environmental Research Center offers education programs that explain environmental science in ways that change how people view the biosphere, inspiring them to be responsible stewards of the Earth.

Spruce Forest Artisan Village where artists have developed a style specific to the area. Artists showcase their work and interact with visitors inside their studios. Also 13 restored cabins and an one-room schoolhouse to visit.

Steppingstone Farm Museum demonstrates the rural arts and crafts of the 1880-1920 period in Harford County. The Steppingstone collection is comprised of domestic arts, skilled trades tools, and farm implements.

Summit Lake Camp’s 200 acres of wooded land and 5-acre lake provide groups with plenty of space to enjoy environmental studies programs and a variety of recreational activities.

The Chesapeake Children’s Museum is dedicated to creating an environment of discovery where a child can learn about oneself, as well as the peoples, technologies, and ecology of the Chesapeake Bay area.

The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum highlights the unique history of African-American providing a variety of educational opportunities that educate students on African-American heritage.
