Eisenhower National Historic Site

View an important and often-overlooked piece of Pennsylvania’s history on field trips to Eisenhower National Historic Site! Groups will have the chance to tour the place where 34th President of the US, Dwight Eisenhower and his wife, Mamie, lived before and after his presidency. The house, grounds, and (still working) farm are mostly unchanged since the mid-20th century, giving groups an inside look at the life of one of America’s most influential presidents. Guided tours of the site provide historical context for students, scouts, homeschoolers, and camp groups. The museum collection features farm objects, photos, 1950s decor, and military items that chronicle the lives of the Eisenhower family and the history of the farm. The historic site offers a variety of history and environmental education programs for scholastic, scout, and camp groups.
