School
The RPO was one of the first orchestras in the country to create a music education program for children, and it continues to be a leader in formulating age-appropriate, sequential learning programs for school curricula. The Philharmonic offers an OrKidStra program, Tiny Tots Concerts, Primary Concerts, and more with age-specific music ranging from operas to classical performances. Students will have opportunities to experience the works of famous composers, learn important music terminology, and explore how different musicians of the orchestra use teamwork to make music. College students with valid school ID can receive discounted rates on RPO concerts.

A concert is a live music performance in front of an audience. The performance may be by a single musician, sometimes then called a recital, or by a musical ensemble, such as an orchestra, choir, or band, before recorded music, concerts provided the main opportunity to hear musicians play.
Field trips to music concerts bring lessons on famous composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, and more to life. Groups will be able to hear and feel the music these composers created long ago while seated in world renowned concert halls.
