FIELD TRIPS

School groups age pre-k thru post-doctorate enjoy time away at the ranch. Rotating activities include trail ride, learn to lasso, feed the longhorns, hike, workout on outdoor obstacle course, and s'mores around the campfire. Activities are tailored to each group depending on size of group and time available. Home-cooked meals and desserts for lunch and dinner.

Bunkhouse is reserved for school groups, church groups, scouts, family reunions or others able to stay at the ranch overnight. Bunkhouse sleeps 30 and includes 4 bathrooms. Staying overnight at the ranch allows the participants to help wranglers in the morning feed horses, goats, cattle, and prepare the horses for a day of riding. Overnight stays include a hearty home-cooked breakfast.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

There is nothing better for the horse lover in your life, age 6 to 86, than to offer a day at the Rancho Cortez ranch for your group. Activities include trail ride, learn to lasso, feed the longhorns, hike, swim, eat s'mores around the campfire and enjoy a home-cooked meal. Bring a cake or arrange for our cooks to bake one for you!
