Experiential education, or “See, Do, Teach” learning has long been a part of the outdoor industry. Coupling education with the life-changing events inherent to outdoor adventures such as: whitewater rafting, zip lining, rock climbing, stand up paddle boarding, lake kayaking, and more leads to learning that is far more useful than classroom theory alone.

In addition to team building activities that challenge your students to work together using a progression of “low ropes” games and initiatives, the “high ropes” climbing elements offer your group members personal growth opportunities. Your group may prefer combining team building activities while playing in the mud pits, where at the end of the trip everyone is covered in mud and grinning from ear to ear.

SCOUTS

ACE Adventure Resort has been providing high-adventure guided activities and fun-focused, youth perspective, scout friendly activities for 35+ years. In 2019 the G.I.R.L. Fest, gathering in WV for Girl Scouts across the country took place on the mountaintop. Girl Scouts looking for high adventure activities will find budget-friendly pricing for lodging, meals, and activities. Regular guided activities and STEM, hydrology, ecology, and geology, activities can be customized to assist scouts with badge requirements.

High Adventure Camps have been partnering with ACE for many years.
