The Holocaust Museum Houston educates students and the
public about the dangers of prejudice and hatred in society,
providing a life-changing opportunity to its visitors. The
museum’s permanent exhibition, called “Bearing Witness: A
Community Remembers”, focuses on the stories of Holocaust
survivors living in the Houston metropolitan area. The
exhibition also includes a Danish rescue boat of the type used to
save more than 7,200 Jews from almost certain execution at the
hands of Nazi Germany.
