FIELD TRIPS

The Army Heritage and Education Center offers an outdoor guided field trip program for school groups at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. It features costumed living history demonstrations that connects America’s Army of past generations with the Army of today, while simultaneously incorporating the core curriculum that educators are presenting to the students in the classroom. Each program will be divided into several period and subject themed “stations” with costumed historical interpreters.

For an enriching experience for scout groups, The Army Heritage and Education Center offers an outdoor guided field trip program for scout groups at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. It features costumed living history demonstrations that connects America’s Army of past generations with the Army of today, while simultaneously incorporating the core curriculum that educators are presenting to the students in the classroom. Each program will be divided into several period and subject themed “stations” with costumed historical interpreters. These programs are available on Saturdays during the school year and throughout the summer.

FAMILY OUTINGS

For an enriching experience for families, the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center offers self-guided tours for outdoor and indoor exhibits. To assist with the self-guided tours, the USAHEC maintains webpages for the various exhibits at the facility, both indoor, outdoor, and digital, to provide a preview of what is available to visitors. These exhibits include the Army Heritage Trail, soldier Experience Gallery, USAHEC’s Immersive Digital Experiences, indoor museum exhibits including temporary and past exhibits and more.
