Established in 1957 by American author, artist, and inventor Natalie Hays Hammond, the museum and garden provide a place of tranquility where groups can appreciate Eastern and Western culture. The Japanese-style garden features rare trees, a Zen garden, a water lily pond, and bamboo, which are complemented by the museum’s Eastern and Western art and photographs.
