Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center

A field trip to Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center’s 350-acre sanctuary helps students, scouts, homeschoolers, and campers gain a greater understanding and appreciation for nature. The facility allows groups to learn about southeastern Connecticut’s habitats, wildlife, and plants through natural history exhibits and hands-on displays. Groups are also welcome to visit the center’s nearby Coogan Farm where they’ll explore sustainable food production, transitional habitats, and the land’s history. On-site programs and outreach are available.
