Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow’s teaches about the natural world with an emphasis on energy and resource conservation, including protection of birds and other wildlife and their habitats.

Carbon County Environmental Education Center is located on 70 acres of woodland, wetland and meadow habitat. The center features a system of boardwalk trails as well as two indoor classrooms replete with elegant nature displays. 

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) offers many opportunities for groups to get outside and learn about the wonders of the Chesapeake Bay region. Groups can participate in the Susquehanna Watershed Education Program.

Gateway to Frick Park and LEED Platinum-certified, the Frick Environmental Center provides hands-on, experiential environmental education.

Green Lane Park is Montgomery County’s largest County Park, at approximately 3,400 acres. The variety of landscape includes rolling hills, forested uplands, open meadows, wetlands and three bodies of water.

Jennings Environmental Education Center is home to a unique 20-acre prairie ecosystem where groups of all ages can learn about the area’s natural habitats and resources.

Visit the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove, located at the first place Audubon lived in the United States. The center showcases many of Audubon’s works, including a double-elephant folio version of Birds of America.

Groups can engage in a variety of hands-on activities at the Monroe County Conservation District’s Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center, using the Poconos as an outdoor classroom.

Morris Arboretum’s natural areas—including wetlands, meadows, and woodlands—provide ample opportunity for groups to see many species of birds, butterflies, and other creatures.
