The Environmental Center is a convenient location for hands-on, outdoor field trips in a woodland habitat. The Park includes a variety of display, educational gardens, a bird watching trail and pond trail.

At the Forest Resource Education Center maintains eight miles of trails for self-guided learning, visitors can explore outdoor learning stations, forest ecology, forest products, swamp life, and more.

Located on 44 acres of the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, GSOEC offers a variety of opportunities for students and scouts to learn about the natural history and environment of the area.

J.A. McFaul Environmental Center features bird shelters, a nature trail, a pond, the sugar shack, flowering trees & nature exhibits. Visitors learn about various habitats on guided walks, dinosaur extinction, and the world of honeybees. 

Liberty State Park features exhibits and programs focusing on the natural history and ecology of the Hudson River Estuary. Visit for spectacular views, interpretive programs, and miles of trails suited to recreational activities.

The Lorrimer Sanctuary‘s main house has an exhibit and lecture room, a winter bird feeding station, interpretive displays, and hands-on exhibits. The property has fourteen acres of land, with a self guiding trail winding through.

Nature Center of Cape May provides natural history and environmental education for groups of all ages. Groups will enjoy a variety of hands-on activities in the harbor and adjacent area of the facility.

New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium offers educational programs that teach key marine and coastal scientific concepts using outdoor activities and hands-on fieldwork. Groups can learn about Sandy Hook Bay, the beach & natural resources.
