The main Audubon Center in Greenwich is located on a 285-acre sanctuary, with 7 miles of trails that wind through hills, swampland, lakes, and forests. This sanctuary is also home to the Nature Play Trail, where visitors can interact with nature through a sensory garden, hand pump and water station, outdoor instruments, critters, and more. An indoor Education Center features natural history exhibits, a storytime corner, and a wildlife observation window. Educational programs utilize hands-on activities, inquiry, and outdoor exploration.
