The Monongalia Arts Center consists of the Benedum Gallery, Davis Gallery, and Tanner Theatre. Exhibits feature sculpture, mixed media, paintings, ceramics, and fiber arts among others. Performances include plays, standup comedy, and more.

In partnership with the College of Creative Arts of West Virginia University, the West Virginia Public Theatre brings audiences professional theater performances year after year which includes student matinees.
