The Coca-Cola Space Science Center primarily focuses on NASA’s space shuttle program through its interactive exhibits, omnisphere theater, and learning center.

The Fernbank Science Center is a museum, planetarium, and woodland complex. Exhibit highlights: the Apollo 6 permanent exhibit; the real command module; live animal exhibit; Nikon Small World exhibit.

The Georgia Museum of Natural History consists of 14 collections that include: Archaeology, Arthropods, Botany, Herpetology, Ichthyology, Invertebrates, Mammalogy, Ornithology, and Zooarchaeology.

Located on the first through the fourth floors of the Capitol, The State Museum of Science and Industry includes extensive exhibits depicting the natural history of Georgia.

The Museum of Aviation includes four large exhibit buildings which house some of the 85 historic U.S. Air Force aircraft, missiles, cockpits and exhibits as well as history and STEM field trips.

Southern Forest World is dedicated to telling the past and present story of forestry in southeast Georgia, introducing visitors to a fascinating world thru interactive exhibits, talking trees and an outdoor play area.

Thronateeska Heritage Center focuses on science and South Georgia’s history with themed exhibits on hydrology, archeology, paleontology and physical science. The Center also houses the Wetherbee Planetarium.
