Adkins Arboretum focuses solely on plants native to the Mid-Atlantic coastal plain, including diverse habitats that support more than 600 species of native shrubs, trees, wildflowers, grasses, and ferns.

Brookside Gardens is a 50-acre public display featuring aquatic, azalea, rose, Japanese-style, rain, and children’s gardens, a butterfly exhibit, and a woodland walk. Its two conservatories offer year-round enjoyment.

The Cylburn Arboretum offers a wide range of educational programs for all ages, with a special emphasis on providing nature education. 

Historic London Town & Garden is a twenty-three acre park conducting interpretive, recreational, and educational programs that allow visitors to learn about our historical, archaeological, and horticultural heritage.

The 300-acre Lilypons Water Gardens is an aquatic nursery nestled along the Monocacy River where visitors will see ponds filled with water lillies, lotuses, and a variety of other plant life. The ponds are home to koi carp fish.

The Mount Washington Arboretum showcases native plants and features a pond with waterfall, interpretive signs, tiles created by children from the Mt. Washington School, two green roofs, a mural, and more.
