US Holocaust Memorial Museum
The collection at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum will allow students to investigate aspects of the Holocaust and its lasting impact. Open year-round and recommended for ages 11 and above, the permanent exhibition provides a comprehensive historical narrative of the Holocaust. Most groups spend between one and three hours in the exhibition. Students will begin on the fourth floor to view The Nazi Assault: 1933-1939, continue to the third floor to view The Final Solution: 1940-1945, and end on the second floor with The Last Chapter. Lessons that complement the Museum exhibits are available for download on the "Resources for Educators" page of the website.
