Home to over 175,000 objects, the Fairbanks Museum aims to create lifelong naturalists with exhibits focused on the Great Northern Forest and a planetarium for exploring the cosmos. House within a classic Victorian building, the Museum collection includes natural science specimens, historical artifacts, and ethnological items representing Oceania, the Near East, Africa, Egypt, Japan and native North America. The Lymann Spitzer Jr. Planetarium, Vermont's only public planetarium, offers guided tours of the cosmos every day.
