Fenimore Art Museum

The Fenimore Art Museum houses American art including folk art and landscapes from the 18th and 19th centuries, history and genre painting, as well as the renowned Eugene and Clare Thaw Collection of American Indian Art. Students, scouts, homeschoolers, and campers can take themed tours of the museum, which focus on Native Americans, museum highlights, special exhibitions, and more. Head outdoors to immerse yourself in the American Indian interpretive site, Otsego: A Meeting Place. During the summer, groups can explore the museum with a self-guided tour. Each tour and workshop at the Fenimore Art Museum comes with a complimentary Empire State Carousel ride at The Farmers’ Museum.
