Discovery Museum
The Discovery Museum provides fun, hands-on exhibits and activities, engage students in the practice of science and learning, and support STEM curriculum. Field trips for elementary, middle and high school students include Discovery Field Trips, a 90 minute self-guided inquiry of the hands-on science exhibits facilitated by a museum educator; Exploration Field Trips, which cover themes such as Atmosphere, Electricity, Green Energy, Light and Color, Magnetism, Sound, and Forces and Motion; Science and Engineering Field Trips, during which students faced with a design challenge are engaged in making observations, posing questions, investigating ideas, problem solving, and communicating evidence and solutions.
