Rose Hill Manor Park and Museums present the daily life of Thomas Johnson, Maryland’s first Governor, and the individuals who lived on the property as well as the history of agriculture and transportation in Frederick County. The property features a manor house, icehouse, log cabin, blacksmith shop, carriage collection, and two barns. Tours and programs are designed to enhance curricular connections and are aligned to STEM and MSDE Common Core standards. Themes include preschool tour opportunities, Early life in America (K+), Pastimes and Recreation (K-5th), Holiday Traditions Tour (All Grades), Clued In (5th+), Arts & Culture(6th+), and Explore History Through Technology.
