Students will enjoy learning about animals through daily shows, zoo keeper talks, tours of the Animal Hospital, and more at Palm Beach Zoo. In Zoo Classes, students will have the opportunity to get up close with 3-4 animals during animal presentations as they explore animal survival tactics, habitats, food chains, climate change, and other topics. Hands-on Zoo Labs, classes, and tours are aligned with Florida learning standards. Lunch from the zoo’s Tropics Café can be reserved for your students in advance. Zoo overnight experiences are also available.

In addition to tours of animal exhibits and educational programs, groups can enjoy the zoo’s Play Fountain in the Nature Play Pavilion as well as the Safari Train and Wildlife Carousel in the Kids Zone. Be sure to stop by the zoo’s Tropics Café and Concessions for a meal or sweet treat after your visit. Picnic tables are available throughout the zoo.

Scout program activities include animal encounters, tours, games, crafts, scavenger hunts, and others to help scouts complete requirements for animal-related scout badges.

In Zoo Classes, homeschoolers will get up close with 3-4 animals during animal presentations while exploring exotic and local species, animal adaptations, habitats, food chains, and other topics. With at least three weeks advance notice, field trips can be customized to meet your homeschool curriculum goals. Bagged lunches from the zoo’s Tropics Café can be reserved for your homeschool group in advance. Zoo overnight experiences are also available.
