Groups can make connections between nature, botany, and what it was like to run a South Carolina plantation at the Boone Hall Plantation Gardens, through tours and hands-on activities.

Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch is a Low country family destination that’s more than just a pumpkin patch, including rides, a petting zoo. Attractions include the Monster Hayride, a huge eight-acre corn maze, giant inflatables, old timey tractors, and a petting zoo.

The Charles Pinckney National Historic Site honors Charles Pinckney, a principal author and signer of the United States Constitution. The 28-acre remnant of his coastal plantation, tells the story of a “forgotten founder” and his life.

City Roots is South Carolina’s first urban farm, grows good food naturally in the heart of Columbia, while promoting sustainable living through food, education and events.
